Songs of the Heart

A Heritage of Sacred Melody

Broadcasted by A Voice For Good on Facebook

Saturday, Nov. 7 & Saturday, Nov. 14, 7:00 and 7:30 p.m.

The year 2020 marks the two-hundred-year anniversary of the First Vision, a sacred event paving the way for the beginning of The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints. To mark this bicentennial, A Voice for Good Choir (based in Provo and directed by CJ Madsen and David Kime) presents “Songs of the Heart,” a celebration of sacred hymns associated with the Restoration.

Originally scheduled for March 2020, the choir’s performances were cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Six months later, in September and October, the choir reconvened—under stringent safety measures—to finally record a 20-minute selection of hymn arrangements and original compositions.

The program will be broadcasted through Facebook and YouTube the first two Saturdays of November, at 7:00 and at 7:30.
